Wednesday Zoom Sangha
1 hour gathering of HoppingTree members in Sangha. We start with a silent sit, then move to introductions, readings, dharma discussions, and a final silent sit.
Collective Sit for Peace
This sit happens the 2nd Sunday of every month. We begin with a recitation of the Heart sutra and then have a 30 minute silent practice.
Saturday Silent Sit
30 minute silent meditation via Zoom. Space is held each Saturday by a member of the HoppingTree Sangha who will begin and end the practice by inviting the bell.
Friday Silent Sit
30 minute silent meditation via Zoom. Space is held each Friday by a member of the HoppingTree Sangha who will begin and end the practice by inviting the bell.
Thursday In-Person Sangha
1 hour gathering of HoppingTree members in Sangha. We start with a silent sit, then move to introductions, readings, dharma discussions, and a final silent sit.
Tuesday Study Group
1 hour gathering via Zoom. Space is held the first and third Tuesday morning every month for interested practitioners engaged in studying and discussing various Buddhist books and podcasts, some in the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition and some from other traditions. We often read a chapter at a time before the meeting, then we discuss how it impacts and informs our lives and practice.
